If you own a HDB flat now and do not want to do anything, here’s what is going to happen :


Home ownership in Singapore is extremely high compared to other countries.
A home provides a shelter for the family and often Singaporean use it as a form of long-term investment.
This is true if you buy a HDB 4 room in the year 1990 for $110,000 and hold for 30 years, the HDB price will increase to $400,000 in Year 2021. Not bad right?
But what if today I tell you another group of buyers, they adopt another strategy which is to buy and upgrade based on their career progression or when their property appreciates at price.
By constantly reviewing your property every 5 to 10 years period and keeping up to date with the property market updates. For the same 30 years period, you are able to profit more than $1million as compared to the other group of buyer that profit only $400,000.

Both group of buyers made money from Real estate but if you are willing to put in more effort and work closely with a real estate agent, you probably can profit more and retire early. =)
